Built where security, insurance and small business meet.
A trustworthy e-signature platform takes three kinds of know-how: the cryptography, the compliance reality of regulated paperwork, and the discipline of running a lean business. SealProof's founder works in all three.

Matthew Carnes
Matthew is a computer scientist with a B.S. from Kent State University, a concentration in information and cyber security, and a minor in mathematics. He works in insurance technology and leadership, and he runs Peak Beak LLC, which builds and hosts software for small businesses.
Most e-signature tools are built by people who know one of those worlds. SealProof comes from someone who works in all three: the math that makes a signature provable, the questions an agency has to answer for its carriers and auditors, and the budget of a business that can't justify enterprise contracts.
He'd be the first to say it isn't magic. It's careful engineering on open standards, with the math published so you don't have to trust him, either.

Three worlds, one product.
The combination is rare. SealProof needed all three.
The cryptography
Matthew trained as a computer scientist in information and cyber security, with a minor in mathematics. SealProof's design (encryption on your device, sealed and timestamped records, public anchoring) rests on established standards and published math, not clever tricks you'd have to take on faith.
The insurance floor
His day job is in insurance technology and leadership, where applications, policy changes and beneficiary forms depend on signatures that have to hold up. He knows the questions carriers, compliance teams and auditors ask, which is why SealProof answers them up front.
The small-business reality
Through Peak Beak LLC he builds and hosts software for small businesses, the ones that need tools that work, cost what they should, and come with a real person to call. SealProof is priced and supported the same way.
Four principles behind every decision.
- 01
Understand the problem
Start with how documents really get signed, and what an auditor or a court will ask for later.
- 02
Build the simplest useful version
Send, sign, seal. The security is under the hood, not in your way.
- 03
Design for failure
Assume a server could be breached, so it only ever holds encrypted documents. The evidence can be checked without asking us.
- 04
Count the maintenance
Open standards (SHA-256, RFC 3161 timestamps, public anchoring) instead of formats only one vendor can read.
